Puppets, Sketches, and Other Ways to Explain Being Alive
My work doesn't explain things. Everything here is seen through the Fool’s eyes - earnest, undisturbed, and quietly certain that the ordinary was always the stranger story.
The Fool just keeps looking. He is a creature that doesn’t ask the strange to make sense of itself. He just pays attention, the way anyone might if they would finally stop expecting the world to behave.
What happens when the ordinary rules quietly stop applying? Humans, animals, objects, and impossible things share the same rooms, streets and tables - never explained, never remarked upon, simply how things are. The Fool moves through all of itwithout shock or judgement, just steady attention to a world that is stranger than it let’s on.
Where the Fool comes from, looks up to, and will one day return.
Everything in between the home, the city, and the stars, one strange encounter at a time.
Streets, cafés, and strangers, where the ordinary quietly gives way to the strange.
Home as a place where the familiar keeps sliding into the strange.
The vision for a virtual reality project. Accompany the Fool wandering through the strange worlds of humanity, interact with the characters, imagine flying through the universe landing in foreign cities and being a guest in the house of life. All in the style of FoA, quirky and imperfect.
